Karen Kelley

Founder / CEO

Karen serves as Managing Partner for Mediapond. She has a strong background in design, previously serving as Director of Operations for a team of designers at the Richmond based interior design firm, Williams & Sherrill. Karen also opened the unique interior design store, Domicile, where she managed merchandising and served as a design consultant. She has been instrumental in such projects as The Symphony Designer House, Lee School Lofts, and provided multiple set designs for movies, including “Lincoln”. At Mediapond Karen’s expertise is centered on providing logistics and detail, while being creative. Karen graduated from Elmhurst College with a B.S. in Marketing, and has studied Fashion Merchandising at Northern Illinois University. After marrying her husband Bob, Karen relocated to Richmond and started Fabrications, a custom home furnishings workroom. In her spare time Karen can be found growing organic vegetables, hanging out at local antique auction, tending to her farm, rearranging the office, or jet setting around the world to visit her youngest daughter, Meggie.

Andy Lynne

Creative Genius

Andy studied art and design at Virginia Commonwealth University. He began his graphic design career at Ukrop’s Super Markets Inc. in 2001. As the Senior Multi-Media Designer for Ukrop’s Super Markets, Andy’s catalogue of work touches many disciplines. In 2007, Andy joined Pure Culture Consulting as a filmmaker, directing and designing films for firms spanning a myriad of industries throughout the country. Andy migrated to Mediapond in 2010 and works as a Graphic Designer, Film Director, and Chief Editor. In his free time he can be found obsessing over Nike shoes, building Lego’s with his son Ethan, or tirelessly cheering for the Redskins, despite their recent record.

Derek Chamberlin

Digital Communicator

Derek studied Fine Arts at Piedmont Community College, and then traveled to Virginia Commonwealth University where he received a degree in Communication Art and Design. He has worked throughout the Richmond area at multiple agencies as a Graphic Designer, Web Designer, and Front-End Developer. Derek was also successful in creating a local non-profit centered around raising awareness for shopping locally and economic growth. At Mediapond, Derek serves as the Lead Web Designer, Front-End Developer, and Social Media Expert / Developer. In his spare time, Derek is an acclaimed Musician (drummer), Chef, Gardener, and Music Enthusiast, although his musical taste can sometimes be considered acquired.
