Karen Kelley

Founder / CEO

Karen serves as Managing Partner for Mediapond. She has a strong background in design, previously serving as Director of Operations for a team of designers at the Richmond based interior design firm, Williams & Sherrill. Karen also opened the unique interior design store, Domicile, where she managed merchandising and served as a design consultant. She has been instrumental in such projects as The Symphony Designer House, Lee School Lofts, and provided multiple set designs for movies, including “Lincoln”. At Mediapond Karen’s expertise is centered on providing logistics and detail, while being creative. Karen graduated from Elmhurst College with a B.S. in Marketing, and has studied Fashion Merchandising at Northern Illinois University. After marrying her husband Bob, Karen relocated to Richmond and started Fabrications, a custom home furnishings workroom. In her spare time Karen can be found growing organic vegetables, hanging out at local antique auction, tending to her farm, rearranging the office, or jet setting around the world to visit her youngest daughter, Meggie.
